Tailoring and extending empirica stream

General customizing

Functions are driven by settings in configuration tables (”Customizing”), set by the implementation team. Settings can be maintained by SI personnel or by internal key user.

New product/
proposition changes

New products, services, bundles, price points are defined by product catalogue configuration, not customization. Product catalogue can be fully managed by internal key user.

Multi-step process

Front-office and back-office tasks are organized by process driven „wizards“, guiding users through multi-step process shortening the overall time spend on the processes. Flow and execution of the wizard is driven by XML definition without code changes.

360° customer view

Widgets by role: 360° view is a set of widgets from our widget collection organized into several screen spaces. You choose which widgets to display for which role. New widgets: new widgets can be developed (if needed) via Empirica Stream API to access data.

Business Process

Business Process Management Engine is a cross-application tool that enables design of company processes using BPMN notation and manage these processes in a workflow manner. Central point of BPME is User Tasklist that is accessible directly from the Workplace.

Own Business Rules

Create own simple business rules via “Regular Formulas” without complex coding. Example: custom checks on input fields.

Own enhancements
integrated to Empirica

Develop own enhancements and integrate to Empirica via API’s Full list of Empirica APIs is published in the Service Catalogue with detailed descriptions. Empirica Stream architecture is strictly SOA. All of its components communicate with each other through the ESB using API’s.
